Our Community
Being a part of our community is vital to living out our Philosophy of Ministry. You will not find long lists of events here - though from time to time, we will have a more 'typical' event available. What you are more likely to see is a story about a one-on-one conversation in our neighborhood, or a picture or two of our people working with others to the glory of God.| Children's Ministry |

Jesus Loved ChildrenJesus loved children, He called to them, talked to them, held them in His arms, and held them up as examples of faith. We Love Children Too
We love children too, we speak Jesus’ words to them, talk with them, and hold them as valuable as Jesus did. Children are not the church of tomorrow, they are equally a part of the church today.
One of the core elements of Living Word Church is that we are a multi-generational church. People of every age, race and generation are included and welcomed as a part of our gathering. Some of our gatherings include people of every age worshiping, praying, reading Scripture and relating together. Children's Classes (Ages Over 3 and Up)
We also provide children’s classes designed to teach children the ways of Jesus through the Holy Scriptures. Our children’s classes are held during our Worship Gathering Sunday Evenings for children preschool through elementary school age. Middle School & High School
Middle School and High School students are encourage to join our Worship Gathering during the message. Parents As The Primary Spiritual DisciplersWe believe parents are the primary spiritual disciplers of their children so we provide time for parents to worship with their kids and encourage parents to lead their children in prayer and reading God’s Word. Why Children's Ministry? We call it Children’s Ministry because not only do we minister to children, but our children minister to us. Children are encouraged to participate in our Worship Gathering through singing, reading, giving and serving. The children also lead us in worship through occasional plays like during Christmas and Easter. |

At that time the disciples came to Jesus saying, “Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to Him a child He put him in the midst of them, and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
